Video Transcript

"Sock monkeys are pretty simple little craft thing to make. Really all you need is a pair of socks. A lot of people like to use the classic sock monkey sock, which is kind of what I've got here, but you don't have to. You can use other kinds of socks and I'll show you in a minute, but you do need a pair of socks to make one monkey. Then just other things. Obviously, you're going to need some needle and thread. I've got embroidery thread. Here's my needle. Some stuffing to stuff them with, and just whatever you like to decorate with. I've got some buttons here and some felt. I can make a little costume if I want to, and I've got some animal eyes here. Basically, the way that you put it together is one sock kind of becomes the body with the 2 legs, and then the other sock you kind of make the other parts out of. The arms, the mouth, and the tail. I'll show you how that all goes together. In the next clip, we're just going to kind of look at one of these socks and see how it's put together."
