"Hi. We're still talking about safety as far as glass work and what I would like to talk about now is the importance of your actual, just regular surgical gloves. You would actually need these when you're working with the different chemicals and the glass. It's not very good protection from glass shards and cuts, but it does help to somewhat alleviate getting as many in your fingers as you can because you will experience some cuts and glass shards as you're working with the glass. So, keep in mind that these are very useful tools. Buy yourself a nice big box of disposable gloves so you always have them handy and on hand. It's also good for working with your chemicals, such as your Patina, which we will be using, your Flux, which we will be using. When we get into the leaded glass, you'll also be using it with your lead and your cements."
