How to Plan a Fire Escape Route

"Hi! I'm Charles Connelly and I am a state certified fire-fighter and on behalf of Expert Village, this is basic fire safety. It is recommended that you have an evacuation plan in line in case something bad were to happen. In this case what we have here, we are in a room that has a large open areas with two bedrooms. What we would want to do is draw a rough idea of what we are working with. We have a door to this side and a hallway that can exit two other doors. We also have several windows which always can be used as an escape route. We have a bedroom here and another bedroom. It is always recommended to go and do this with your children in case something were to happen. Everybody should know how to get out. If at anytime we had a fire say in this bedroom and somebody was sleeping here, you should always remember that the windows or if they can make it to the door would be great exits. Should practice this several times because when this happens for real life, it is going to serious and everybody is going to be very chaotic. "
