"This carpet cleaner/steamer is generally used for somebody who has pets, the kids and the whole house situation. Where this one is a smaller and lighter version of the same thing. These are generally for people who are only wanting to do one room or small areas or live in an apartment. The brushes on the bottom from here do not rotate. You just push it back and forth and that is what scrubs the floors, the carpeting. So these lightweight units are light and easier to use but not effective for deep cleaning with pets and kids. "
