"Hi my name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village we are going to talk about the proper use of a hammerdrill. Whenever using any power tool especially a hammerdrill it is good to practice good safety. Some of the safety equipment that you may find necessary in the use of a power drill are earplugs, a set of OSHA approved safety glasses, and a pair of gloves. Safety glasses would prevent debris from getting in your eyes. Earplugs honestly a hammerdrill can be very noisy. Protect your hearing with a good pair of earplugs. Then gloves to protect your hands when drilling through concrete, the pit can get very hot and if you introverted grab the bit it will burn you. So gloves, safety glasses, and earplugs. "
