"Today we’re replacing the trim around a door and we’re ready to install it. So once you’ve measured and cut all of your trim, we’re going to start with the side piece, and we’re just going to tack it up and the next one will be the top. Just put one in place, and you just want to tack it up- we don’t want to nail it al the way in. Leave the nail sticking out some so that you can set the other end to the piece of trim. And that’s how you would get ready to nail it all in. Once you have it all set equally around the door, because no door is going to be perfect, then you go ahead and nail these in and add a nail every six inches, just about. And make sure that they go down below the surface of the trim. And that’s how you would install the trim around a door. "
