"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be talking about planing operation. First you need to make sure that your workpiece is secure in a vice or with clamps or some other appropriate method. Next we are going to rest the front of our tool on our workpiece and we are going to make sure that our blade is not touching our workpiece. After that we are going to squeeze the trigger and wait till the planer reaches full speed. As we go when we start, we are going to apply pressure at the beginning. The middle we are going to have even pressure with both hands and at the end, we are just going to apply pressure at the back of the planer. This is going to give you a more even cut with a better finish. "
