Installing Home Light Fixtures

"Hi, this is Jon and in this clip, we will install our fixture. The first thing we're going to do is remove the decorative nut from our mounting plate. Next we're going to push all our wires up into our box and we're going to raise our fixture into place. Make sure you don't pinch any of the wires and then lastly, we're going to install and tighten our decorative nut and I recommend pushing up a little bit on the fixture as you tighten it so that it gets as tight as it possibly can, but you don't want it too tight that it will damage your fixture. And the last thing that you want to do is go ahead and try to wiggle the light fixture, if it doesn't move, that means you've done a good job of securing it."
