"Hi! I'm Gary for Expert Village. The first thing we're going to do is decorate our jar. I chose pieces of paper that are green in color because I want to create a grass effect and I'm going to put some of the petals around the jar. Usually a barometer is something you keep outside, so it looks like an outdoor scene. I'm cutting up the papers and I’m also going to trim the petals and get them ready for gluing on the jar. A jar, since it's made of glass, there are different types of paints that you can use to decorate the jar and become more artistic with it. If you're doing project with kids and you think they'll enjoy it more to use paint as oppose to cutting and pasting, then you can also use different types of paints to decorate a glass jar. As w said before, there really is no limit to the type of decorations you can make. You can get really creative. We'll use this yellow paper as rays of a sun. We can glue them as well onto the jar. I'll use this paper. It has more of bluer color to use it to put around."
