"Hey everybody Don Golden here with Expert Village. We are talking about copper piping and copper fitting. We have prepped these two little demo pieces and the 90 degree union that I am going to show you how to sweat shortly but I got a little ahead of myself in that we had already applied the flux paste before dry fitting. Now dry fitting is a term that sounds exactly what it is. You want to fit these together before you put anything on it especially the solder. If you have two valves that you are joining and you are a little off in your measurements and you have already soldered them then you have got to start all over again. A dry fit is simply what it is, you take each piece and put it together and if point A goes with point B exactly where you want it then you are ready to go. It is very important that you dry fit all of the copper pieces and there is going to be a lot more of this whenever you are doing a job. That's it for dry fitting."
