"Doing laundry can be really easy. First thing you are going to want to do is separate your whites from your colors. Anything that is grey is going to go in the whites section unless it’s new and then you’re going to put it in the color section for the first time that you wash it. You’re going to want to use two pillow cases, these are going to be for delicate items. Things that are not dry clean only – like lingerie, women’s undergarments would go into a bag, things with beads on it would go into a pillow case. Dark color pillow case of course for the dark clothing and a light colored pillow case for the light clothing. You would put the laundry in there and the tie the top of it when you put it in with the rest of the laundry. Now when you start with the washer you’re going to want to fill up the basin with water and then put your clothes in but don’t fill it up all the way because if you fill it up all the way the clothes might not get completely clean. You’re going to put some detergent in as directed on of course the back of the battle and go ahead and set your laundry, set your washer, to the correct settings. White clothing you’re going to want to wash in hot water and dark clothing you’re going to want to wash in cold water. And then of course, whether it’s permanent press, or delicates or of course just regular clothing you would set it according to the washer specifications. Once the clothes are done washing, put them in the dryer. Make sure you take out anything that needs to be hung to dry. Something that you don’t want to shrink because the heat in the dryer will of course shrink any of your clothes. So, you’re going to want to hang those things up to dry. Before you put anything in the washer, make sure that you take out anything that says dry clean only and take that to the dry cleaners. You don’t want to put it in the washer because you could of course ruin the material or of course make it shrink. "
