"This is Ben Ingham with Expert Village talking about a walk out basement. Concrete was brought in from a ready mixed plant about 7-8 miles away and it is made for specification for this kind of flooring. They can add more or less cement to make it stronger or a little weaker. I specified a 3500 at least which makes it strong enough so you can drive a car on it so it should not break or crack. The next thing was to get cinder block and I got the light cinder block they do make one that is a little bit heavier but the light cinder block just makes it a little bit more easier to work with and to do with. Basically that is all you need other then a string or a trowel to light cinder block. "
