"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel With Expert Village. So in this clip we're going to finish assembling our really fun luggage tag. We already stitched our clear plastic pocket in so you're going to take our backing or your other fabric and right sides together I'm just going to line them up. You just want to go ahead and pin it because I'm using vinyl. You don't want to put too many pins in it because the vinyl does have a tendency not to bounce back when you stuck holes in it. The holes are pretty much permanent. So I'm just doing a couple little pins along the seam allowance. What we're going to do is we're using ribbon that is actually going to be tied onto so you're going to take the ribbon and you can either cut it in half or just fold it at the very top. You're going to slip it in, you want to slip it to the very top, pull out the pieces. I'm using just a piece of ribbon that is about 20" long. What I'm also going to do is just make sure that I have it centered in here and we're going to pin that in and the corners. What we're going to do is stitch three corners of it and we're going to leave this last corner open so we can actually flip it inside out and then we'll finish this off. Take it to your machine and sometimes the vinyl is a little tricky to center so I just use sewers aide or you can also use hand cream or baby oil. But sewers aide won't affect the fabric. It's just like a silicon base oil. So just go ahead and stitch all the way around you just want to do a small seam allowance about a 1/4". (sewing) When you get to the edges, you just want to go ahead and turn your fabric. Now when you get to the part that has the ribbon, you want to go back and forth a couple of times just to make sure it's really secure. You don't want that to go anywhere. Now that it is finished, the last step is going to be turning it inside out and finishing it up."
