Halloween is a great holiday for fun and festivities the whole family can enjoy. Dating back to the 5th century BC in Celtic Ireland, Halloween originally may have developed on a day when the Celts believed that spirits could intermingle with the living, and so would dress up in ghoulish scary costumes and noisily parade around the neighborhood being destructive, in order to frighten away spirits looking for bodies to possess. Today, the Halloween holiday is more fun and playful with children and adults dressing up in scary Halloween costumes for trick or treating or a fun Halloween party. Many people carve Halloween pumpkins to make Jack-O-Lanterns, and also decorate with fake spider webs, bats, ghosts, and other ghoulish decorations.

"Hi! I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here today to show you how to do vampire makeup. Here are the supplies that you're going to need on hand to be able to make your vampire creation. First, we have our blood mixture. This is corn syrup combined with some blue and red food coloring with some cocoa powder added in. This is going to be our main blood mixture for the day. Then we also have some of staple face paints, white and black. This is sometimes referred to as grease makeup, since it's very easy to spread over the entire face. Next, we have a set of insert teeth. More details on these guys later. They also come with some adhesive putty, which is safe to put in your mouth. Also, we have some addition face makeup. This is more of a detail oriented makeup. You can get this is in a lot of convenient stores. The critical colors to have on hand today are red, white, black, and gray. Those are the key. You can usually get by without other colors if you need to. To apply the makeup, I have a series of sponges. One of them is a larger cylindrical, and the other one is a smaller triangular for the finer details for the sponging. Next, I have some liquid latex. We're going to use this to do some build up effects on the face. Of course, we need to apply all the stuff with various types of brushes. I have some nice soft brushes here. I also have more q-tip applications as well. Also, a couple of other like little brushes that come in the makeup kits. It's good to try to use those, waste not one. Last, I have some white baby powder, which we're going to be using to give more a uniform look on our vampire."
