"Hi, I'm Masequa Myers and we will talk about the fifth day of Kwanzaa and light the candle for the fifth principle of Kwanzaa. The fifth principle of Kwanzaa is nia, purpose. And every time the lighter of the candle lights the candle for that day of the celebration, and, today, we're talking about the fifth day, nia, you repeat after the lighter of the candle, "nia." And you say, "nia." And they say the English definition, "purpose." And you say the English definition, "purpose." Nia, to make our collective vocation the building and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their original greatness. Nia. And in our next clip, we will talk about the sixth day and the sixth principle of Kwanzaa."
