How to Clean Mushrooms for a Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

"Hi, this is Dave for Expert Village. Today we're going to make some stuffed mushrooms with ham and shrimp. When we want to start our stuffed mushrooms, you want to get some really nice large one like this. Some people just like to brush them off and I like to give them a little soak and water cause I will dry these off a little bit. The biggest deal is you don't want to stain too much water cause it will really soak up the liquid. So just go ahead and get some of the dirt off of it. These are pretty clean and some of them come really dirty and I'll set them aside. You can see some of the dirt comes right off in the water just like that and bring your hands over it. Again, this recipe is for twelve. We're just going to make these six really large ones just for our demonstration here. You can see it's not soaking up too much liquid. We're just doing this fairly quickly. "
