Now we're going to fill our pan and do our marbling. After the batter has beaten for about 5 minutes, we can take it out, clean off the beater and set that aside. We're going to pour about 2/3 of the batter into the pan leaving about 1/3 of the batter in the bowl. Put that back, spread your batter to the corners. Spread that all out right the corner. Now we're going to put our marbling chocolate into the batter that's remaining. Scrape that all out with our spatula. We're going to get our beaters again and put those in and beat that up until it's smooth. Okay, we'll move that again. Scrape off our beaters. Mix in a little if there's still some white batter in there. Mix that in like that and then just pour it over the white batter. It doesn't really matter how you pour it over. You can put it in one lump. Just scrape it all of the best you can. Now you're going to marble. Just pick up the batter from the bottom and kind of swirl it around without mixing it. You just want to get the chocolate and the vanilla sort of evenly distributed without really mixing it. Kind of a folding motion where you pull it from the bottom and fold it over the top. There's no particular design. Just whenever it looks even. Then you can just smooth and even that out. Now it's ready to go in the oven. For most ovens, the best to put the cake is on the center rack. Make sure there's room on the top for the cake to rise. Now we'll set our timer for 30 minutes.
