"Today I'll show you how to make this beautiful princess doll cake. I'll show you step by step how to fix her hair, and decorate her beautifully with fondant and buttercream icing. This is what we'll be using to make our princess doll cake. You'll need a molded cake and a nine or ten inch, round layer cake. We'll be using some buttercream icing and rolled fondant to make the dress, the covering. So you'll need about two pounds of rolled fondant to cover the whole cake. We'll be using a little bit of confectioners? sugar and some margarine or shortening for working with the rolled fondant. You'll need some paste colors for coloring the fondant and we'll also be doing a little decorating with a pastry bag. You'll need a disposable pastry bag, a coupling and few tips. A straight tip and a star tip are few good tips to be using. You'll need a little cookie cutter, a little flower cookie cutter for some decorations. Of course you need the doll to put in the cake. You'll also be using a large rolling pin, and a small rolling pin, assorted spatulas and a knife for trimming the cake. You'll also want to have a clean surface to work on. Baking paper is a good surface to work on but it's also for rolling large pieces of fondant so you want a large, clean surface."
