"Alright, we're going to install the shower head now and we put this half inch nipple in here with a cap on it after we had finished hanging the drywall and it was just here to keep the water from squirting out if someone should happen to turn the valve on. You don't want this pipe opening and water just come shooting out. So and the other thing is, I didn't want to get any of the texturing inside the threads or the drop air 90 that's behind the wall here, so I always just put a nipple in to cover that up. Now, next thing we want to do is put the shower head arm in. We've got the shower arm. We just put the shower scutching, which is the part that covers up any hole that there might be bigger than the pipe that you're going to put in. I've also put some Teflon tape around the thread so that when you use the shower, no water will leak out behind the wall. And then we just stick it up in there. Push the scutching against the wall and we're done. Now we'll put the shower head on and again, put some Teflon tape on the threads because if you're like me, when you're standing there taking a shower, you don't like to get sprayed in the eye from a little leak that's squirting out around the threads here and this Teflon tape will take care of that. See, they send it in a nice Styrofoam bag. Keeps it clean and free of scratches. Nice Price Pfizer shower head and it just screws right on."
