I have a rose and it is going to be the same kind of rose that is in the bouquet for the bride, I like to match them of course you do not have to. I am going to snip it off the stem with about 1 to 2 inches on the bottom. I am going to take my piece of wire and slide it through, make a hole in the stem and slide it through. We only need about 1 to 2 inches of wire so you can cut off the other piece. Then I am going to take my florist tape, this tape has a sticky substance on it and you need to stretch it as you are rolling around the stem and twirl it all the way to the ends of the wire and it is very easy to rip off just with your fingers. Now for my greens I have chosen ivy, this lasts a long time and I really like the shape of it so I found one that is a good size I think and I am going to wrap that also with the florist tape by stretching and winding at the same time. Some people like to use baby’s breath; I am choosing not to use it because I like a cleaner look. You can either wrap this with a ribbon, the same kind that will go on the bouquet or you can leave it straight or you can twirl it and then you have a pin and you pin it onto the green.
