" Welcome to Expert Village. This is Kim Brown. Okay, in this segment we are going to be doing lips and I am going to show you lining the lips and how to have to have a fuller lip or a smaller lip depending on what your preference is and then applying lipstick. We chose neutral colors more on the bronzy brown sides for this makeup palette. Now when you are doing your lips and she has a smaller upper lip so we want to accentuate the upper lip and give it a little more fullness, so without going outside the lip line and adding to her lips we are just going to give them fullness and how to do that is, you start from the outer corners of the lip and go up to bow of the lip and the bow is the center of the lip, that adds a fuller rounder lip. If you wanted a smaller lip or a more pointed look on your lip, then you would start at the top that you do the bow and then from the tip of the bow you go down to the corners of the lips. So we are going to go from the, you can just relax your lips, from the outer corner up, just follow the lip line and I just use little strokes and then you fill in the bow, then I just do little strokes from the line down into the lip just slightly. Filling in the lip with liner helps to give the lipstick more of a base and it holds it a little better so you can have your lipstick lasting a little longer, start in the center to little bit around and I do the same from the corner to the center. Take your lipstick brush and you just going to blend in that liner. This just helps to not have a solid line on the outside of the lip and follow the same pattern, going from the outside up to the bow when you are blending even, just to keep that same roundness to the lip. Work your lips together a bit and just sort of freehand it until you get the look that you want. I like to powder over the lip, this helps to set the lipstick. If it is your own lipstick, go ahead and use your brush right on your lipstick, but if you are using at the salon you want to take it off onto a spatula, just get it all over my lip brush and then just start filling in the lip.
