This is Kim Brown. In this segment, we are going to show how to do a quick up do with natural curly hair. We have already prepped the hair with a curling iron, just adding a few more curls in where there weren’t as nicely defined curls. A nice soft French twist. Now we have a lot of hair, and you wonder what you should do with that. You could separate it into a couple of pieces and put it out of the way. Take this one section and you could tie it in a knot. They create a lot of definition and design, and with all the texture in her hair, it looks really pretty. Then you pin the end of the hair and the other section, still a little bit thick, I think I will take that still and do another, make it into three sections. So get that up out the way. Maybe put a little bit hair spray on it, and a little bit more of our pomade to another little knot. Knots come in really handy, because you can use them to make all sorts of designs. This one, if you are doing this yourself, you can use a mirror when you are looking at the back of your head, just to fit that in. Then your third piece, a little bit of working spray, and a little bit more pomade. You can even leave a piece like that falling out; it looks pretty and just natural. Then with this top hair, you’ll be able to create some height. We just want it to fit into this area that we have here, so that we can take it and make a knot out of it. Then just push it in, until you some fullness. This is just the design portion, so whatever feels right to you, and use your creativity. You have a nice, quick natural hair up do.
