Hello, I'm Chef Jamel Boyd, and today we're going to prepare a boneless prime rib. We're going to use some zesty ingredients to go with this and it's going to have a robust flavor. I have a grater here and what I'll do with the grater is I'll grate the orange to get the zest off. I have enough zest for the top of it. I'll take my crushed red pepper flakes, crush them on top of the steak like so, a nice little bit. I'll take some salt and I'll take pepper, rub it in okay, and then I'll just take my orange zest and place it on the steak. What I really like to do with this is I like to get the orange zest and red pepper flakes on there then I like to let it sit for maybe like two hours, wrapped in plastic in the refrigerator, a little bit of olive oil in our pan, make sure it's coated all the way around. As you can see our pan is already smoking. What I'm going to do is I'm going to start with the non-coated side down first. That's just a little bit of salt and pepper on the underside but I want to start with that side down first. Now I'll flip it and then we'll place it right in the oven. So look how nice and pretty that is. Now I'm going to go in our 350 degree oven for about six minutes, take it out of our oven. The citrus has been nicely crusted, simply put on my plate, some of those juices over it like so and then we'll just garnish it with the oranges. Hi I'm Chef Jamel Boyd and that is how you prepare a boneless prime rib.
