Hi, I’m Kimberly Seeherman, event design expert and owner of Events By Fabulous. Today, I’m going to teach you how to decorate for a girl’s 18th birthday party. It’s a very delicate age, and we want to make sure that we create a feminine and lovely table centerpiece for your daughter’s birthday. So, I’m going to show you here how to do a wonderful gold and silver tablescape with accents of antique rose. So, we’re going to start with a banquet table – you can also use a round table, or any table that you have in your home which is a dining room table. And, we’re going to set that with a champagne pintuck linen – this is available for rental on our website, or at a rental house near you. And, next we’re going to continue with our table centerpiece by putting on some of these lovely candelabras. Now, this is a single candelabra, it’s very elegant, it’s very feminine, and it’s very modern, because it is, of course, clear. We’re going to have three different sizes of candelabras, and if you’re doing a banquet table, I would recommend spreading them down the center of the table to create length on the table. And, next we’re going to do our floral arrangements. I’ve chosen here a beautiful pink mercury glass vase – it’s a very antique and feminine look. And, I like to do different size vases, again, to give a little variation in height to the table, which makes it more interesting. And, I’m topping that off here with an ivory floral ball, or you can do fresh florals as well. And, last we’re going to kind of weave in and out of all of the beautiful centerpieces that we have here with this lovely champagne glitter decorative mesh, and this is something that I picked up at a Michaels, a craft store, and you can get that as well. And, you’re just going to work that in, weave that down the table, again, to really bring all of the elements together into one beautiful centerpiece. And last, we’re going to finish off the tables with chargers at each of the place settings. I’ve chosen here to do alternating silver and gold chargers. And then, finish the look with these gorgeous mercury glass votives. And of course, light all your candles, let your table sparkle, and I hope your daughter really has a beautiful and wonderful 18th birthday party!
