Hi. I'm Linda Facci of Facci Designs and today I'm going show how to do the paper fingernail. What you'll need is some rubbing alcohol, 70 percent or 90 percent will work. A light colored nail polish, a top coat, a clear top coat and some newspaper cut into strips to fit your nail. So I've already painted my nails a light pink and you're going to let them dry thoroughly. So they're dry. So the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to dip my newspaper strip into the alcohol, dip a finger into the alcohol. Now place the print side down on my fingernail and with a dampened alcohol cotton ball hold some pressure over the nail. And you do that for about 10 seconds. You want to have the print adhere to your nail. Sometimes it's fun to use a foreign newspaper to see kind of a different pattern on your nail. Once you've applied some pressure gently lift off the newspaper and you'll have the newspaper print on your nail. You let that dry a little and then you're going to add a top coat to seal it. I'm Linda Facci of Facci Designs and that's how you make newspaper paper nails.
