Hi, gang, I'm Coleen Christian Burke, and I'm going to show you how to make gingerbread men to hang on a Christmas tree. You will need an eighth of an inch of ribbon. A drinking straw and a tray of gingerbread cookies before they go into the oven. After you have cut out your cookies but before you bake them, take a drinking straw and push down near the top of the gingerbread man's head. Going to either side. This will remove the cookie dough. But if it doesn't just try it again. Basically we're putting a hole in his head. Once all the holes are complete bake your cookies. When the cookies come out of the oven allow them to cool. And then you are going to place your ribbon through the hole that you've made. I usually make my ribbon about seven inches. But whatever length you prefer is fine. Look how cute these turnout. I mean they're just adorable. And now you can hang them on your tree. But I'm warning you make extra because these ornaments are so tempting they get eaten right off the tree.
