Hi, I'm Coleen Christian Burke, and I'm going to show you how to create ice drops on Christmas decor. Ice drops bring an extra sparkle and dimension to your Christmas decorating. They are very easy to make and they are worth the effort. You will need epoxy glue, silver glitter, white glitter, and tiny clear beads that you can get at any craft store. And of course the Christmas decoration you want to add the ice drops to. I've chosen pine cones today. I like working with them because the natural shape of the cone lends itself to snowy ice drops forming between the ridges. So simply take your epoxy glue and I'm going to drip it down. And then I simply drop my crystal beads into the glue. And once I have a few on I'm going to take a little silver glitter and I'm going to sparkle it right on like that. Already my snow drops are forming. It's easier to work with fast drying epoxy because it's less messy. I also like to work in sections because it's more controllable. So here's a cone that I've already completed. Look how beautiful that looks. I really love the way the light catches it. And then here is a final product. A finished decoration with ice drops. So you can add ice drops to just about any Christmas decor. Try it I'm sure you'll love the results.
