Hi, my name is Autumn Wintersgill. And today, we're going to talk about how to knit a pointed scarf. You want to start at the bottom point and move up, so that you're increasing the number of stitches that you have. So, I'm just going to start out with three stitches. So, I'm just casting on my three stitches and then, I'm going to knit them. I'll turn around and now, I'm going to increase one in the center stitch. So, I knit my side stitches, knit front and back, in the middle and knit one. So, you're starting to see that it's pointed. Then I'll just knit this row, turn and knit one, knit front and back, knit front and back, knit one. Then, I'm knitting this row even. And on this row, I'm going to knit two, knit front and back, knit front and back, knit two. So, you can see that I'm increasing. And you're continue increasing every other row, so you'll do an increased row, knitting front and back on your center two stitches. And then, turn, knit all the way across your stitches. Continue that until you have many, many stitches and you have two edges that are wide enough to wrap around your neck for your pointed scarf.
