Hi, I'm Tali Gallo, here to share with you how to add a row of buttons to a wedding dress. Wedding buttons are a staple on brides and can definitely add a signature look to the back of your dress. The best way to sew on a wedding button is to use functional buttons and loops. It is optional though. You can just add a row of buttons to the back of the dress. So if you are doing buttons and loops, use the loops as a way to identify exactly where to place the buttons so add the loops on first. So then when you are ready to do the buttons do a double layer of thread to make it extra sturdy and then tie a knot onto the very end and then take your button and what I would do is actually use the same exact fabric as the dress. So this particular dress is in taffeta so you want to use a taffeta button. Of course there are options to use crystal or lace or organza, different fabrics according to the dress. So and then what you do is just take the thread and the button and loop it through the hole and attach it here just like I am on the dress. And here you go, a row of perfectly lined buttons on a taffeta wedding dress. Thank you for watching and see you soon.
