Hi, I'm Paula Pierce, and this is how to protect a vinyl transfer for a T-shirt. Vinyl is a popular material for use in iron-on that you can apply to a T-shirt. Today I'm gonna show you how to safely iron it on, and how to get the most life out of your T-shirt. First, you will need to select a T-shirt to iron on. Select a vinyl transfer from the store, or print on out on your printer. You will also need a pillow slip or an ironing paper included with your transfer, and you will need an iron. While ironing on the transfer according to the manufacturer's instructions, you will need to use ironing paper or a pillow slip to keep the transfer from sticking to the iron. To prevent your transfer from damage, always turn it inside out to wash it in cool water, and never put the T-shirt in the dryer.
