I'm Ava Lynne Green. I'm going to show you how to make a centerpiece using glass blocks with a Christmas theme. First what you do is take snow, fake snow and an old toothbrush. Dab some on the, get some on the toothbrush and then just dab it. Let it dry. It takes probably maybe an hour to get it nice and dry. The next step is to do the decorations with an enamel, green enamel pen. Now when everything's dry you're ready to decorate your inside. Just simply start stuffing them through the hole. Once you get the lights all stuffed up inside the hole you can also add small ornaments or these happen to be some sequent balls that sparkle. And I left part of the, part of the strand of lights on the outside and just curl it around. That way when you plug it in you have just a little circle of lights around your block. This is a mesh ribbon. Make a small loop, another small loop. Each time you get to the center you pinch it and give it just a little bit of a twist. You can arrange the loops on your bow. Place your bow and that's how you make a simple Christmas centerpiece out of glass blocks. You can find the detailed instructions or this project and others at Terri's Yarns and Crafts.
