My name is Ava Lynne Green. Today, I'm going to show you a couple of different ways to decorate a Christmas sweatshirt. You need a pre-washed sweatshirt. These happen to be white. You could use a colored shirt if you wanted. We have puff paint. I also have some slick paint or three dimensional fabric paint that I'm using on the poinsettia tree, some fabric glue for gluing on little embellishments if you want them. This is an iron-on transfer pen. I've already puffed the bottom of the shirt so now I'm going to hold my iron just right above the surface, don't stick your iron down on it, but just right above and give it just a little bit of steam. So there now my paint, my tree is all puffed. I've already glued on my snowflake sequins, you could add beads to it, whatever you want to put on your design. Now for the poinsettia shirt what I did was take poinsettia blooms and remove all of the plastic, start from the top and outline the edges of your flowers. I'm going to put just some yellow paint in the center. I hope you've enjoyed watching a couple of ideas to make Christmas sweatshirts. You can get detailed instructions for these projects at Terri's Yarns and Crafts.
