Hi I'm Heather Klar. How to hand-crinkle jeans. Want that broken in look when you're wearing your jeans? I have a few tricks on how to achieve it. The crinkliness of jeans is a lot to say about what your personal aesthetic and preference is. I've never really given it too much thought. I think my jeans usually have a little bit of a broken in feel but probably not too crinkled. But a lot of it has to do with what type of fabric the denim is that makes up your jeans. If it's a thicker, sturdier fabric or if it's more of a broken in feel but as far as hand crinkling them, your best bet actually is when you go to wash them again inside out with a lukewarm temperature. Probably letting them air dry or maybe them throwing them in the dryer for maybe ten minutes with a dryer sheet and then taking them out and kind of shaking them and just letting them sit somewhere. If you want you could kind of bunch them up. Depends on how much crinkling you wanted. So you can just take the jeans and crinkle them up, put them in a ball when they're still kind of damp. Or another trick is you can kind of twist them up. When they're damp it makes a much more strong crinkle if you will. If they are dry you'll get a softer crinkle I guess. But just kind of leave them like this and see how it goes.
