Hi, I'm Ellen Bass, and today I'm going to show you how to bake salmon cakes. First you want to preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and then you want to get your salmon cakes together and salmon cakes are a wonderful alternative to a regular burger and so healthy and light and great source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids which is wonderful for your heart. So get a large bowl and to that you're going to add one pound of salmon that you've chopped into fine little pieces and then you're going to add two eggs, two cups of Panko bread crumbs. I love the crunch of Panko bread crumbs and next you're going to add a half a cup of mayo, a quarter cup of capers that have been drained and rinsed, two tablespoons of dill, two tablespoons of tarragon and two tablespoons of chives all fresh herbs, one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a half a teaspoon of ground black pepper. Take a wooden spoon and mix it all together and then make eight patties. So for this salmon we're going to roast it for ten minutes and enjoy your light healthy alternative to a regular burger.
