Hi, my name is Christina Gavenda, with DomesticFelicity.com, and today we're going to talk about how to make a no sew tutu dress. For this project you'll need, you'll need your tulle, your tulle dimensions should be approximately 6 inches wide by about 26 inches long. How many pieces you need is dependent on the size of tutu you're making. You'll need at least 30 pieces for a toddler; One long piece of tulle that's at least a yard long, a secure safety pin, a tank top, and a piece of elastic that's at least 18 inches long. I'm gonna start out by taking my safety pin, and pinning the two ends of my elastic together. Making sure it's nice and tight. Then I'm going to take my strips of tulle, fold it in half and find the middle, place it over the elastic, and then pull the two tails through the hole. Then you're gonna continue doing that until your skirt reaches its desired fullness. Once you have your tulle completely tied around your tutu, you're gonna take the tank top, and lay it inside your tutu, and you're gonna be using the straps of the tank top. Then we're going to take our long piece of tulle, and this is going to be the sash around the top of the tank top. What we're going to do is use it to attach the tank top to the tutu by tying it on. I'm gonna take my tulle sash, find a place on the side front of my tutu, pull it through. Now I'm going to tie this onto my strap here. Now I'm going to do the exact same thing to the other side. I'm gonna find a place in the side front of the dress, pull my tulle through, and then leaving enough tulle for it to stretch, so I want to make sure I've got plenty of room there, gonna tie it onto the tank top strap. Once you have your tulle sash tied onto your tank top straps, take the backs of them, and tie them. Now your tutu dress is done. Thanks so much for watching, my name's Christina, and today we talked about how to make a no sew tutu dress.
