Hi, my name is Audrey Johns, founder of Lose Weight by Eating. And I want to show you how to make an amazing stuffing in a casserole dish with whole wheat bread. Whole wheat is so much better for you. It has so many more nutrients and when you cover it with chicken stock and vegetables you're not going to be able to tell the difference between white and wheat. So this is a great way to trick your family into eating healthier. So what I've done is I've chopped up one onion and one entire bunch of celery. I've put it into this nice pan with about 3 tablespoons of olive oil and a couple pinches of salt. And I cooked it until the vegetables started to get just soft. Now we can start making the rest of our stuffing. First of all you want some good chicken broth and I love to make chicken broth on my own but I wanted to show you guys a good way to do it where you can just grab the stuff on your way home from work. So I like to get good organic, free range chicken broth. And I'm going to go ahead and pour the entire thing in. It's all about moisture here. And then to that I'm going to add 3 eggs. I've already whisked them so that we don't have to deal with the yolks or any of that. And I also let this cool because we certainly don't want scrambled eggs inside of here. Now before it has too much time to get hot I'm going to dump in all of the bread. Most of the bread. And as you push the bread around it's going to start soaking up all of the liquids. Alright. It's starting to soak up nicely and this is about good. I'm going to put it all back inside of the pan and then all of the extra sauce at the bottom I'm going to drizzle all over the top. Alright. Now you've got your stuffing. All you need to do is stick this into the oven 350 degrees, I would say about 25 to 30 minutes and it will cook through. I hope you check out more of my recipes and again I'm Audrey with Lose Weight by Eating. Happy cooking.
