Hi, I'm Holly Silva, and I've been a craft expert for about 15 years now. And today, I'm going to show you some crafts for decorating a boy's room. Very simply, I'm going to take some construction paper. Now, what we're going to do is, we're going to make a nice, little layer for, to cover a boy's dresser. Because boys are often a little messy, and you know, they like to stick things to surfaces. And especially if you have nice furniture, you don't want to, you don't want to spend you know, time on ruining that furniture with the kids, as it so often happens. So, we're just going to start out with a piece of construction paper, you can choose poster board, any color that you like. I chose blue because it's for a boy's room. And I'm just going to cut out some you know, boyish designs, like fish. I'm going to start out cutting here, we'll cut out just some, little fish designs, oops, there we go, ah, there it is, wonderful. And you can cut out as many fish as you like, just for the sake time. I don't want to take up too much of yours, we're just going to show you some ideas here. But continue to cut some, little designs here. And they don't all have to be exactly the same, they don't have to be all exactly perfect, they can be all shapes and sizes. Because all fish are different shapes and sizes, or ducks or bears or anything that you want to do for the boys, anything that the boys like. Even if they like graphic novels, you can even print some out on the computer, you can Google some images, if you'd like. Or, if you have anything else that you can take from, you can print them out and stick them on a large piece of paper. It's very simple, just use your imagination, use all the resources that you have. And don't forget to draw some little eyeballs on your fish, and smiles. Now, of course, you can adhere them to your piece of poster board or in this case, construction paper, with double stick tape, glue, glue stick, spray on adhesive. Which you can use, but I don't really suggest it for, recommend it for a child's room. Because the fumes, I don't know, the fumes, I'd just rather stay away from them. It's always better to keep it non-toxic and safe when you're dealing with kids. And there it is. Now, you can hang this over the top of a drawer or a dresser. And I'm going to show you here, I'm just going to fold it really quickly, like so. And you can hang it over the tabletop and hang it over the dresser for a nice, little decoration. And there it is, that is the idea for decorating a boy's room. I hope you enjoyed this, use your imagination, have a great time. That's the whole idea behind crafting, it's just using your imagination and loving what you do. Because the people who receive them are going to enjoy it just as well, hopefully, anyway. Have a great time, we'll see you next time.
