Hi, I'm Holly Silva and I've been a Crafts Expert for about 15 years now, and today I'm going to show you how to make very simple father's day crafts for kids. Simple. When we say simple, what do we do? Usually, it's construction paper, right? That's what we're going to do again today. Dad loves anything that their kids will make them. I think that's just one of the most wonderful things of being a parent. Now, I myself, I'm not a parent, but I have nieces and nephews and I love them so much. So, crease it nice and clean with your ruler. Make sure it's a clean ruler. If not, it's okay because that can add some like different effects to the corners. I like to keep my corners clean. So, just fold the piece of paper in half, like so, see there it is, that's our card. And just grab any fund little adornments like ribbon. You can cut ribbons to any size and do like this and grab your double stick tape, just little pieces. Stick it to the back of the ribbon. Put on the top, anywhere on the card. I like to grab little pieces when, when I'm working with ribbon, like that. Alright. That's nice little thing, huh. And then grab stickers. Stickers are fun. This one I've got some football stickers; you can get these things at pretty much anywhere you can find greeting cards. You can find stickers of all types. My dad likes football. So, if your dad likes football, you can use that. If your dad likes soccer, if he likes fishing, you know, being outdoors, maybe you're hunters, anything that, anything that really defines your dad. You know, because this is, this is for him and you want to make it special for him. Let him know that you made it especially for him. You know, who doesn't love him made cards? Okay. So, there's that, and what I'm going to do is you can grab a marker, you can use anything you want. I really like white out tape. So, what I'm going to do is just make a nice little Dad in white out tape. Alright. Sometimes it's a little tricky because it pops over the edge, but we can rectify that very simply. Alright. Okay. Like this, dad, alright. There we go. And it doesn't have to be pretty, it doesn't have to be fancy, just fun. As long as you're enjoying it, as long as you're having a great time, don't be stressed out. There's no reason to be stressed out. There's so much else to be stressed out about, you know; even kids these days. Just have a good time, enjoy it and the love will show through. Look at that. It's very simple. You can dress it up as much as you like, you can add some more ribbon, you can add some more stickers, you can even use puff paint. Anything that you want. And then write something nice on the inside. Write something like, "Dad, we, we love how you take care of us and you know, you work", or, " you know, "We love how you love us", and I don't know, "Buy us things" or, "Take us to practices", things like that. So, there was your father's day card. He's going to love it, just as much as you enjoy doing it. As long as it comes from the heart, they're going to love it. Happy Father's day from us. We'll see you next time.
