Hi, I'm Holly Silva, and I've been a craft expert for about 15 years now. Now, today, I'm going to show you how to make ballerina crafts. Now, this one is going to be very simple, it's so quick, it's going to be great for kids with a short attention span. So, what I have here, is tissue paper, that's what it is, and all we're going to do here is, grab just a little corner of it. And cut just a little square out of the corner. You can use any color tissue paper that you want. Especially today, because ballerinas don't always use like, the traditional you know, like pale pinks or you know, blues like that anymore. They're really artistic and very vibrant and very lovely, and really love the way that the ballet is moving lately, so. And of course, crafts are fun, so you want to be as creative as possible. So, what you want to do here, is grab in the center and pull it together here. grab your scissors and just cut off a little, tiny bit off the top. That makes a nice, little hole in the middle, o.k. So, now, what you're going to do is, grab some pipe cleaners and I already cut this one, it's about, I think, that maybe about like five inches long. So, we're going to cut another, about that length. And we're going to cut one more pipe cleaner, a little bit longer than that, o.k. So, maybe like an inch or so longer than that, oops, o.k. So, what we're going to do is twist around the top and these are going to make our ballerina's arms. Now, this ballerina can be a male or a female, because there are male ballerinas, we know that. And we'll keep those for, keep those for now. And what we're going to do is, put up the little skirt. well, I guess, if it's a female ballerina, it's, this one is a female ballerina, because male ballerinas don't usually wear tutus, not typically, and not in public. I mean, they can but not typically. So, what we're going to do is, grab our double stick tape and put it here at the bottom, and wrap it around. That way, we can flip it upside-down and crinkle it, like so, there it is, there's our little tutu, o.k. So, now, you have the extra. Now, what we're going to do with that is, grab this other piece of pipe cleaner, and wrap it around the bottom, like this. Just the same way we did for the arms, we're going to do for the legs. And I know, you're probably thinking, what is she going to do with the orange piece? Well, for the orange piece, we're going to just warp around one of them. So, she's going to have a really colorful left to right leg. Maybe, maybe it'll be like her you know, like a warmer, like a leg warmer or something, she's fancy, she's cool. O.k., so, now, what we're going to do is, bend the top to make just like a little bit of a head. This is kind of like an abstract piece of art. And then, we're going to bend the arms, something, something very graceful and clever, like so. And she's leaping through the air. So, here is our ballerina, a fun, little ballerina craft. I hope you enjoyed making it, it's a great craft for girls and boys, just alike. If you want to make it a boy, just take off the bottom part, you don't have to, you don't have to make a skirt. It's really simple, it's all about grace, that's the ballet, right. Have a great time, enjoy your time crafting, I know, I did. Let us know if you have any questions and we'll see you soon.
