Hi, I'm Holly Silva, and I've been a Crafts Expert for about 15 years now. And today, I'm going to show you how to make a beaded napkin ring holder thing. It's going to be a lot of fun. So, what we got here is, we'll this is what it looks like first of all, there's that. So, what you get first is some craft wire. I like craft wire, it's just awesome. You can do anything with it pretty much. Well, you know, not anything, but you get the picture. So, I measure out about four inches, that's, that's pretty good. You don't want it to be too big because you're going to be wasting a lot of time on excess beadery. Unless you want excess beadery, that's, that's your thing, you decide. Okay, So, what we do first is we create just a small loop at one of the ends because we don't want to be stringing beads and having them coming off the other end as we're beading them. That's defeat the purpose of the job. So, what we're going to do here is grab some beads. I like these beads, I like these colors, they're pretty, you can use them for holidays, you can use them for, well, you can choose any color what you want, that you want. Oh, you know what, these colors are actually like 49er colors; San Francisco 49ers. I'm not, I don't endorse any team, you know, I know a lot of people like the sports thing; I'm not really into the sports thing, but I appreciate you for what you love, 'cause I love you. So, just pour some beads out and just string some beads along, turn on some music. This is really good, this is a really good activity for, you know sometimes you just want to zone out. That's one of the reasons that I enjoy making like cards and crafts and things like that is because you can just zone out. Folding laundry, things like that, you know what I'm talking about. So, this is the same type of deal, I'm only going to show a little bit because you know this is time, a little time consuming. I mean, you could probably do it in about, maybe do one in five minutes, depending on your speed and the size of the beads. Oh by the way, I got these beads at a, I think I got them at Walmart or something. They're only like a dollar per little vial; it's like, let's see, it's got a, what does it say; 30 grams of beads, you got for like a dollar like I said. It may have gone up a little bit, but, beads are beads and beads are fun and you can use any color you want. And you can use, you can tie something col to the middle of it and make like a little, I don't know, something cute like a flower or, if it's Thanksgiving time or the fall season, you, you know, you can do pumpkins, you can do little things. Anyway, okay, so, I just did half of it, but what you do at the other end of it when you're done is you fold another loop at the end, just like you did the first end and you put the loops together and there should be, there should be just a little bit of a, a linkage there and you snap it to, we'll it's not going to make a snap, but you just pinch the two together. And it should not come apart and then, you'll be set free for your paper napkins. In fact, look at how cute that is. See that? We also just made a wine, a wine glass marker, you know. It's crafting, you can do anything you want, your imagination, your imagination rules and you know, sometimes you end up discovering really cool things. So, here is what the finished product looks like. You stick it around the napkin and you use your place settings and your guests are going to thin that they're awesome because you made them and you're awesome; so, naturally you're going to make awesome things and they're going to be great and people will love them. So, that's that. That was your beaded napkin holder. I hope you have a great time doing it. You can use any colors you like and have fun with it because it's your project. If you have any questions on this or anything else, let us know and we would love to help. See you soon!
