Hi everybody, my name is Gene. I'm a graphic designer and illustrator. I've been working in the industry for about 15 years and I'm going to show you just how easy it is to make one of those breast cancer awareness ribbons. Let's go take a look. All of the different awareness ribbons are real easy to make if you just want to make a bunch for, you know, throw it on a pin, grab like a safety pin or something and you can make your own little breast cancer awareness pin in this case. We're going to take some pink ribbon and cut it out right about here and all they do, I mean it's so totally simple, the symbols of the awareness ribbons. Hold that there so it's straight out like this and then fold it kind of on top of itself and flatten it out. Gosh this is so difficult, holy cow. Anyway, that's all you do, fold it on top of itself and flatten it out and then you can put a safety pin, you can do a couple things, you can just glue this like this, right. You could hold this like this and then hold it against your shirt like this but then you have to hold it like that for like you know the entire time that you are wearing it. So that's probably pretty inconvenient. I would probably put a little, just a little dot of glue underneath there so that this will hold its own shape and then what you can do is you can grab a safety pin, right and you can safety pin right across the center here and just pin it to your shirt and then you have a little breast cancer awareness ribbon. So, that's how easy it is. You've literally just cut a small length of ribbon, fold it on top of itself, safety pin it to whatever you want, very simple. I'm sure they did do that one on purpose so that anybody can make it so that it would be real easy to show your appreciation. So if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask and thanks for watching.
