Hi, my name is Melissa Barrad the owner of I Do…Weddings! In San Diego, California. I'm here today to give you suggestions about a great greenery to use in your wedding ceremony floral arrangements. My particular favorite is Italian ruscus which you could see here, it's available all year round, you can find it in most areas of the country. This is a bunch that I purchased wholesale, but a lot of times if I need just a small amount I clip it from my garden because it's very, very easy to grow and it's very, very reasonable in cost. So the reason why I like this versus other types of greenery is because I feel it's substantial, but it's also delicate too, it wont overpower an arrangement like a fern and doesn't look as dated as if you used a fern or Babies Breath. So picture purchasing a dozen roses from a local florist or your grocery store and what comes with it, it comes typically with ferns, it comes with very, very light fluffy greenery and I really don't like that look of flowers. I particularly look for something that's a little bit more substantial and it contributes to the look of the flowers and doesn't look like just filler. So when you are selecting greenery for your wedding ceremony definitely check out Italian ruscus it's a great way to go. I'm Melissa Barrad with I Do…Weddings! And that's so much for joining me.
