Hi, my name is Melissa Barrad, the owner of I Do Weddings in San Diego, California. I'm here today, to talk to you about wedding table centerpiece decorations and some options and ways to go about finding something that's perfect just for you. There are so many ideas out there, it's just so hard to whittle it down. Something that I always tell my clients, particularly my floral clients, is that, for your decor budget, I usually like to allocate 50 percent of the budget to centerpieces. And the reason being, is because that's what people are sitting in front of, for a duration of the party. Yes, the bridal bouquet is very, very important, and yes, the later is important, but the centerpieces are as well. So, there are so many different ways you can go. It could be as simple as a potted plant, all the way up to a huge arrangement of orchids and crystals and feathers, just depending on what style is for you. There are some great ways to go about looking for centerpiece ideas. Whether you're going the DIY approach, or if you are having a professional florist do it. I highly, highly recommend Pinterest, I love the style Blog, Style Me Pretty as well as Ruffled. They both have really great ideas and show tons and tons of pictures, and also show how centerpieces compare to the rest of the details in a wedding. And then, looking at your centerpieces, it's something important to keep in mind that you are likely, depending on your configuration, going to have eight to ten people per table. So, with that in mind, doing the math and determining how many centerpieces you need. A great and affordable option that I'm seeing a ton of, right now, is providing your containers and providing them to a professional florist. Where you can have the benefits of having your own containers that you own, that you can keep after the wedding, or give to your guests. And then, have a professional put things together for you. I highly recommend it, it's a great way to go. So, after seeing all the pictures here, today, within this video, hopefully I've given you some great ideas and some direction, motivation to have your personalized centerpieces. I'm Melissa Barrad with I Do Weddings, and thanks so much for joining me.
