Hi, my name is Melissa Barrad the owner of I Do…Weddings! In San Diego and I'm here today to answer the question, what wedding colors go well with blue bridesmaid dresses? Well you're in luck if you picked blue bridesmaid dresses. You can go any color of the rainbow, blue is such a great neutral color that you can build upon it anyway shape or form. So I'm going to break it down for each season and some suggestions and ways to go. First winter the winter blues, add something softer even if you have like a royal blue dress doing varying shades of blue and gray might be gorgeous together so something like a sky blue and white and maybe ivory, those all will look beautiful for a winter wedding. For spring using a lighter color blue and really bringing pops of color like you'd see naturally in spring, oranges, pinks, yellows all of those would be absolutely gorgeous and photograph beautifully. Moving more so into summer my favorite blue combination is going one of two ways the first of which is beach glass color so a light blue and a lighter green together or possibly having a turquoise type color and orange look really great, it's really fresh and modern. And then for fall weddings I really like a navy blue with more traditional primary colors like a true red, purple, green like a moss green looks absolutely gorgeous together, but the great thing is all of the rules are out of the window, you can go anyway that you'd like. If you want to have a summer wedding the day before Christmas or if you want to have a winter wedding in July, you can definitely do so. My favorite suggestion that I always give to my clients is go to a paint store it's something you can get your guy to go to with you and look at paint chips, they're free and it's a great reference point to give to your planner, to your rental company and also to your florist to give them an idea of exactly what you want and to see how those colors would come together with a blue bridesmaid dress. I'm Melissa Barrad with I Do…Weddings! And thanks so much for joining me.
