Hi, I'm Cassandra Allen-Brown from Bags By CAB-Yarn Shoppe in Denver, Colorado, and today I will be teaching you how to make ruffled crocheted edges. For a very fast and effective as well as beautiful ruffle, we're going to chain three, two, three, turn our pattern whatever you are making and you're going to do a slip stitch through the chain stitches, so one, two, three, slip stitch, one, two, three, slip stitch, one, two, three, slip stitch and then one, two, three. It's a very fast pattern, it's just wonderful and it gives you a really pretty ruffled edge on whether you're doing a hat or an article of clothing. Originally this chain three is called a picot stitch. It just makes for a really nice ruffle and then, you'll just do it around the entire pattern that you are working on. It looks nice on scarves as well and that's it. Right here that gives you a nice little ruffle and this one that I've already completed for you and that's how you make ruffled edges in crochet. I'm Cassandra Allen-Brown, Bagsbycab.com. Thank you for watching.
