Hi, I'm Amee Hoge, and I'm here to teach you how to play with food where I take a basic recipe, add a couple twists to it to create a whole new dish. So today we are playing with stir-fry, actually chicken stir-free with sesame seeds. So I'm going to add a few other ingredients in here to make a really nice colorful stir-fry. I've got my assistant here, Justine, the fit cook who loves to cook and cook healthy and so that's what we're doing today with stir-fry. Let's do it. We're going to add a little bit of olive oil, about a tablespoon of olive oil, then we're going to add a little bit of garlic. Oh, you can add as much as you want. I love garlic, that's one of my favorites. It's so aromatic. Do a little stir, I'm using a stir-fry pan. Um, then we're going to add some chicken and again we're going to be making like about a one person serving. Okay, add as much as you want but i want to show you how to create such a simple, oh my gosh. Smells good already. It's cleaning my sinuses. That's what I love about garlic. Then I'm going to add a little bit of green onion. Okay, I love the color that brings. Carrot, I chop my carrot up really nice and fine. It just cooks a whole lot faster. Then, oh yea, oh yea, that's alright. I've got a little bit of ginger, alright and then we've got and then our red cabbage, purple cabbage. I love the color of this, add a little salt. I think we need a little more olive oil. You want to pour a little bit more olive oil on here for me? Nice and extra virgin olive oil is like a body cleanser, it's so good for you. Yeah, you don't have to worry about the oil and the fat content so much because it is just so good for you. So you can use a different kind of oil if you want, I like this one and I've got it on like medium high heat so you can always turn it up, don't turn it on too high to start and burn your food because that's, I've done that before. Have you don that before? Yes. I forget that you need fat in your body so if you get the right kind of fat, it's good. You need that for long term energy, that's for long energy store. Yeah, you're right, fit chef. I added a little sesame oil, just a little bit, maybe a half a teaspoon. All that's really going to do is add flavor. Then I've got some sesame seeds. You can never have too many I don't think. No. They are nice when they toast up. Yeah, let's get our plates. Now we used some nice rice noodles. Okay and you want to grab a fork? Um, here we go, scooch me on over. You did a great job of cutting up that chicken. Thank you. Um, um, there we go. Nice, alright, so let me grab this fork here. There you got it? Beautiful.
