Hi, my name is Jack Morgan. I'm with VivoPools in Southern California, and I'm going to show you how to protect your pool heater. Okay the reason you would have a pool heater typically you'll have one on a pool is because of the fact that you may have a spa or you want to use your pool year round. The heater is basically placed in a position last in the circulatory system of the pool so that all filtered water goes through it so no kind of debris is getting clogged into it. We want to make sure that we keep all the combustible material off the top of the heater because of the fact that it does get hot here and it can cause a fire if left unchecked. So we want to make sure that we keep all materials off of the heater so that that won't occur. There's a vent on the very side of this particular type of heater that blows hot air out so we want to make sure that we have that also cleared so that it doesn't cause any kind of clogging or blockage in our venting system which would cause the heater to overheat as well. So that would be something that we want to make sure that we were doing to protect our heater. My name is Jack Morgan.
