Hi, I'm Tali Gallo, Director of Solutions Bridal in Orlando, Florida, here to share with you how to compare an off-white wedding dress to ivory. Just a few years ago, most designers had a one to two color options per dress. Now, there are certain dresses that can have up to five color options. One designer's off-white can look similar to another designer's ivory. So, don't let the name of the color throw you. It ultimately comes down to what color you love and what looks best on your complexion. Generally speaking, an off-white shade is lighter than ivory. So, here's an off-white dress which can also be referred to as silk white or diamond white. Now, as a comparison is an ivory dress, which can also be referred to as egg shell or oyster. When you find the right dress for you, ask your stylist for color swatches. Keep in mind, everything will be lighter in photos. Also, if you're wedding's outside, make sure to take your swatches outside so you can see what color looks best for natural lighting. For 90 percent of my brides, ivory is most flattering. But, give both colors a shot and see what works for you. Thanks for watching, and I'm Tali here at Solutions Bridal Orlando, Florida, and reminding you to stay stylish.
