Hi, I'm Michelle Burt, owner of Maddycakes, children-themed parties, and the party DIY craft blog Maddycakes News. Today, I'm gonna show you a very easy project that you can do for a winter-themed classroom project. A snow globe, very simple to make with items that you already own. These jars are just jelly jars that I saved, I save every jar that I have. The figurines are, my daughter has hundreds of these figurines that you can get from those meals, fast food meals, and some glitter and some water. Simple snow globe. Glue the figurine onto the lid of the jelly jar, halve to just make sure that your figurine can clear the jar. Once it's glued in, simply add some water, and some glitter. Add as much glitter as you want. The more, the more snow. If you want the snow to fall a little slower, than you can get some liquid glycerin from any drug store. Add a few drops, and then the glitter will float down a little slower, but it's not necessary. Once you add the water and the glitter, simply put the lid on, screw it on, and there you go, a simple snow globe that I'm sure your children will really enjoy.
