Hi, I'm Lori Riviere with, and we're here here in Miami's design district at Egg and Dart restaurant. Today I'm gonna give you some tips on ways to invite guests to put their wishes on a wishing tree for the mom-to-be. So, one of the things that I like to do when I'm creating a wishing tree for a party is think outside the box. So over here in the corner, I have this really fun tree, that's not the typical wishing tree that you're gonna find in a craft store. Be creative, because at the end of the day the Mom is just gonna probably, they can just take the wishes off of the tree and put them in a really nice jar, or container, or really nice box. Now, ways that you can invite the guest to actually put the wishes on a wishing tree is to find an old frame, and put a little message inside the frame. Another thing that you can do is create really beautiful card stock, or cards in different shapes, that guests can put the wishes actually on. They can write them on the actual shape. So you'll cut out the different shapes, you'll get a hole puncher, you'll punch a hole, and then you'll take some ribbon and you'll tie up the actual shape to the ribbon, and then you can take a really nice dish like this, and lay them all out in the dish, all the different shapes. And guests will come and they'll write the wishes on the particular shape, and they'll hang it on the wishing tree. Get creative with your wishing tree. It can be a flower arrangement, it can be branches, it can be a million things. You don't have to be literal here. You can even make a wishing box, or a wishing jar, and have all the wishes go into those things. I'm Lori Riviere, with, and those are some tips on how to invite guests to put their wishes on a wishing tree.
